Golden State Plan Service
Shasta Builders’ Exchange is an original member of the Golden State Plan Service – a coalition of more than 16 regional exchanges and planroom providing statewide project coverage from Mexico to Oregon.
- Viewing Plans: Computers, free wifi and coffee are available in the planroom for SBE members.
- Plan Copying: Members get a discounted rate for blueprint copies. Have your copies made while you wait.
- Plans Online: Members have full access to view all plans online with Planroom 2.0. Request to be listed, request blueprint copies, send subs or suppliers project details, search specs and so much more.
- Other Plan Room Subscriptions: Combine Golden State Plan Service with Premier Builders Exchange (Oregon) and Sierra Contractors Source (Nevada) at one convenient location. Members have the option of subscribing to these other online planrooms for additional fees.
SBE Weekly – Printed Weekly & Available Online
SBE Weekly is an informative publication printed and mailed weekly. Members get up-to-the-minute information on projects bidding, bid results, and weekly building permits, and legal information including liens, notices of completion, and bankruptcies, as well as employer and industry related articles.
Trade, Training & Resource Guide and Membership Directory/Online Directory
Published twice a year, this popular publication is distributed to the members, public agencies and the general public. Consumers are referred to the online directory for the most current list of members.
Member of the Month
Once a month, all members will be in the running for our Member of the Month. This includes an article on our website as well as a feature on our social medias.
Education Seminars
Members receive a discounted rate on educational seminars, including safety training, business training, construction career training, and CPR/First Aid, Flagging and Forklift certifications.
Events
Include the Electricians’ Ball, Annual golf tournament, a holiday dinner party and other special events throughout the year.

Receive the latest information regarding projects bidding, addenda, bid date changes, cancelled projects, mandatory pre-bids and other vital updates via fax or email every weekday evening, excluding holidays. Additional fees apply.
