SCED Fire Recovery Loan Fund
SCED has created a FINAL – SCED Fire Relief Fund Application for small businesses to provide small, short-term loans to help compensate for lost revenue, clean-up and other business expenses. We will do our best to turn these around in 72 hours, hoping to alleviate additional stress on businesses as they, and their employees and families, regroup. We made the first loan on Friday to a small business in Trinity County. I am attaching a copy of the loan program description, also available on our website at www.scedd.org/fire, and am asking that you share it with your staff and membership.
Also, SBA is making available low-interest loans for businesses, homeowners, renters and non-profits. The application can be completed online at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela/Information/ApplyOnline. The SBA disaster team will be arriving here in Redding later this week to help anyone needing individual assistance.
