Common OSHA Citations In 2020

Shasta Builders’ Exchange would like to assist in keeping our members and other local contractors informed about Covid-19 health and safety. This year employers have been cited for not complying with OSHA regulations regarding employee health and safety. Here are the common OSHA Covid-19 Citations as of this year.

What can be learned from these citations?

Please, review these quick sheets and stay informed on how you can better protect your employees. Other ways you can help prevent potentially being sited by OSHA from a Covid-19 related issue is to be sure your employees have an understanding of the type of PPE they are wearing to protect themselves and others from Covid-19. Have your supervisors track employees to see if they are still following protocol and see if further safety training is needed. Stay informed on any policy changes and new OSHA regulations that may occur throughout the year. You can contact your local Builders’ Exchange for further information and other safety resources. You can also review OSHA’s Guidance on Preparing Workplaces Form Covid-19 as well as check their website for updates on safety standards.
